The “Bläserprojekt” aligns training seminars for music teachers wishing to introduce a Bläserklasse at their school.
The project first started in one of the first Bläserklassen in Germany. The idea to let children learn a wind instrument in class and play together began in 1994 at the comprehensive school Mainz headed by Prof. Bernd Schuhmacher among others. After the teaching experiences of the first years an educational concept was developed, under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Ludwig Striegel, rector of the Musikhochschule Mainz, that helps to initiate Bläserklassen in other schools.
A key question for upstarting Bläserklasse conductors is the procurement and financing of instruments for the respective school. As an accompanying partner of the wind project seminars, the company offers Stölzel expert advice and favorable conditions to equip schools with instrument-class sets. Furthermore, the company Stölzel ensures to spread the concept, among its many contacts and business partners.
More information on the cooperation of the company with the Stölzel wind project can be found at Bernd Schumachers site and Gert Kürners site.
